Out There – Contemporary Contexts for Museums

- TAKE AWAY

Everyone who is attending Out There will bring differenct perspectives and experiences to share. We believe in the theory that when two things come into contact they leave a trace on the other; we hope that you will leave Out There with something more than a delegate pack. Please let us know what you are hoping to take away from the event.

I hope to get loads of new ideas on how to shape projects outside the gallery context.
New contacts from all walks of life. I really look forward to this.

I hope to take away some more contacts and ideas around participatory museum practices and some sense of Glasgow Museum’s goals with respect to Red Road.

I hope to get lots of exciting ideas for projects and to find out more about what other people are doing. Also, I would like to meet people who might like to work with us on future projects.

    Dear All

Great to meet you all in Glasgow last week.

I was the one who showed the video of the Human Library – where you can ‘Borrow’ a person for a face to face conversation and so tackle prejudice and discrimination.

Here is the link to the video which I’ve now uploaded onto YouTube.

    Best wishes
